Terms of Service

Welcome to my pet grooming salon! I'm a fully qualified dog groomer with over 23 years of experience, and I offer high-quality grooming services. Thank you for considering my salon for your pet's grooming needs. Woof Woof!

Appointments

To provide the best possible experience for your beloved pet, I operate by appointment only. Please note that the time listed on your booking confirmation as the finishing time is provided as a guide, and while I strive to adhere to it as closely as possible, it may not always be exact. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly provide at least 24 hours notice. Failure to do so or no-shows will result in a fee.

Health

I need to make sure that all pets in the salon are healthy. If your pet has any medical concerns, please let me know prior to their appointment.

Behaviour

I reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that is deemed to be unhealthy, aggressive, or too nervous and jumpy to make the grooming process safe. I also ask that you disclose any health or behavioral issues your dog may have prior to their appointment, including any history of biting or aggressive behavior. If I determine that it is unsafe to continue with the grooming process, I reserve the right to stop and charge a partial fee for the services performed.

Clean Salon

To help maintain a clean and comfortable environment in the salon, I kindly request that you take your pet for a stroll and give them a chance to take care of their needs before entering. If your pet has an accident and it's clear that they were not given a fair chance to relieve themselves, we may need to charge a $20 cleanup fee. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our salon a pleasant place for all.

Excessive Noise

As the salon is in a residential area, I endeavor to maintain a peaceful environment for my clients and neighbours. Therefore, I kindly request that pet owners are mindful of their dog's behavior when dropping them off at the salon. If a dog is excessively noisy or barks constantly, I regretfully cannot accommodate them and request that they are promptly picked up. This is to ensure that the tranquility of the salon and the surrounding community is maintained. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hand-Scissoring and Styling

While hand-scissored and styled trims can produce beautiful results, it's important to note that they may take up to three hours to complete and are not suitable for every dog. This type of grooming requires a high level of precision and focus, which can be challenging if a dog is uncooperative or uncomfortable with the process. Therefore, I will decline requests for hand-scissored or styled trims if I believe it may be unsafe or uncomfortable for the dog. As a professional groomer, my top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of every dog in my care. I work with each dog's unique temperament and comfort level during the grooming process, and if your dog is uncomfortable or nervous, I will decline requests for styled or scissored trims.

Pickup

I kindly request that you wait for my notification before coming to collect your dog. If you arrive before being notified, I may need to stop the grooming session and release the dog to you as is. Please note that in such cases, you will still be responsible for paying the full grooming fee. Whilst I will do my best to accommodate your pickup schedule, please bear in mind that pets can sometimes be unpredictable, which may cause delays. To minimise any inconvenience, I will notify you as soon as your dog is 30 minutes out from completion. I kindly ask that you arrange to collect your dog at the time advised or make other arrangements with us beforehand to avoid additional charges. Thank you for your understanding.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of service. We offer two payment options: mobile banking via PayID or cash. If you are unable to use mobile banking while at the salon, please bring cash as payment on pickup is required.

Satisfaction

I want you and your pet to be happy with my grooming services. If you're not satisfied with the results, please let me know within 24 hours of your appointment and I will do my best to make it right.

Liability

I take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in my care. However, accidents can happen, and I want to make sure that my clients are aware that I carry insurance to cover any potential incidents.I would also like to highlight that grooming dogs with behavioral issues, senior pets, or those with matted or compacted coats can pose risks, for those pets I require owners to sign a release form prior to the groom acknowledging this and releasing me from any liability in the event of an accident or injury during the grooming process.
